CT_Raid Assist |
CTRA is a staple for any raider. It's one button curing, boss mods and timers, as well as the easy to use interface make it indispensable for end-game raiding. Download the newest version to someplace you will remember incase you have to reinstall it at some point. once the download finishes click "open". Then click "extract all files" then browse to *:\WorldofWarcraft\Interface\Addons Then click "okay" or "extract". Then log into the game, at the Character Selection screen click the "addons" button in the lower left-hand corner. In the upper right-hand corner there is a "load out of date addons" box, make sure it is checked. After installing if you experience more lag than you used to go back to addons page and increase the "allocated memory" for your addons in the upper right-hand corner. |

Guild event mangaer is an irreplacable Raid scheduling addon. It is how we schedule ALL events, if you do not have it, and get it working. You will not be doing very much raiding Install: follow the instructions for CTRA |

Cast Options or Genesis |
a healing mod is mandatory for any healing class(i.e. Priest/druid/paladin/shaman(eventually). You will be assigned to "general healing" from time to time and be expected to heal all DPS(along with a couple other healers) and you will be alot more efficient if you can just spam your assigned heal button and not have to select your targets. They will also save you mana by properly ranking your heals, and alerting you when you need to abort the heals. Install: CO: follow the CTRA instructions, you will also need the Dependency SEA which needs to be installed in the same manner. Genesis: follow the CTRA instructions, all dependcies and necessary files are included in the download. |

KLHThreatMeter |
The threat meter ensures that you will be able to watch your threat and don't pull away from the tank. Extremely important when doing all-out DPS, and long boss fights. A must have for any end-game raid. Install: Follow the CTRA instructions and enjoy knowing when you are going to be pwnt next! |

Teamspeak |
Teamspeak is a voice communication program to make control and gameplay easier and more smooth during raids(and save me gobs of typing) Having a microphone is not a requirement. having it installed so you can hear the raid leaders is. Install and setup: download the newest release version for your nationality. install it to the location of your choice(c:\program files\ being the default directory) Once installed, open the program via shortcut on your desktop, or Start>Programs>Teamspeak2 RC2>Teamspeak2 RC2 setup the connection to our server by click "connection" on the toolbar. Then select "connect" under the "servers" in the box on the left right-click the background and choose "new server" name it so you'll remember that it is the OwA Teamspeak server. Then fill in the sections as I describe below. Server Address: 209.160.43.173:10036 Nickname: (enter your handle here) Anonymous Login (to get a registered login request it from one of the server admins) Auto-Reconnect (make sure it is checked so if you get dropped during a raid you won't have to tab out to reconnect) Channel Password: (obtained via the guild MOTD or by officers of the guild) |
