We have a fairly open inviting architecture as
far as joining the guild goes, we don't have ppl fill out forms or
email ppl or any of that bally-hoo. If you are of a class that we
need to further ourselves in endgame raiding, or a personal friend
of another of our members then you will be allowed to join our ranks.
Though you must also agree to abid by our Code of Conduct. Failure
to adhere to our CoC will result in an immediate dismissal from the
guild. After years of leading a gaming clan I have learned that is
better to kick fast in error at times, then do nothing at all. So
be sure you read and understand the CoC, and abide by it while you
are with us.

The OwA Imperative is fairly easy
to follow, I expect every guild member to treat each other as they
would wish to be treated. I do not tolerate inhouse fighting. If
you can not solve your conflict peacefully, and without dragging
it through guild chat and I have to get involved I will make it very
easy for the two of you to not ever get in a fight again because
one of you likely won't be in the guild anymore. It is not easy to
run a large gaming guild, and even harder to hold it together, so
I do not dally in my decisions. I would rather over react then not
react at all.
With that said, there are really only
a couple areas that I'm concerned with,

Anything that would effect the communities
guild image is a kickable offense.
Ninja looting: The
taking of any BoP(Bind on Pickup) item without rolling, RR'n(Raid
Rolling) or deciding amongst the group/raid members is ninja looting.
This is definitely a kickable offense. Make sure that you are getting
the loot through the proper channels before you grab it.
Raid Behavior: Whether
it is a guild or PUG(Pick up Group) you are to listen and follow
the leader of the group/raids instructions. There can only be one
leader of a group. Once that leader is decided upon you must follow
his lead, or leave the group as gracefully as you can. Just because
a person might be an ass, is in no way a good reason to call them
names or get into a petty argument. Always take the high road and
bow out gracefully if you do not agree with the direction of the
group.
General Chat: General
chat is the ingame forum of the server. If you get into petty arguments
and name calling in general chat ppl are sure to shift+click your
name and take note of the guild your in. And as a result these
ppl will either A. make an opinion of our whole
guild upon your actions or B. they will know myself
or another officer and msg us about your actions. Which will not
bode well for you.
Recruiting in general chat is acceptable.
Spamming general chat that we are recruiting is not acceptable. minimum
repeat time for a recruitment message is 5 minutes. I would prefer
it be more like 8-10 minutes, but sometimes time is hard to keep
track of ingame while your doing stuff.
Selling Items: Selling
items in guild chat is acceptable. Green text BoE items are to
be given away to guild members that can use, or at most sold to
them at the vendor fodder price. If you do not wish to give, or
sell for vendor price then you should put it in the AH and
you are NOT to try and sell it in GuildChat.
Blue or Epic BoE items that you want
to sell to guild members I expect a guild discount given. From 25-50%
discount to guild members under avg(not grossly overpriced) Auction
House pricing.
Multiple Guilds: Being
in multiple guilds with OwA, is not an acceptable practice. We
practice an all or nothing mentality. There are a couple exceptions
to the rule but those are far and few between if you have questions
about what is allowable and what isn't feel free to email me, or
contact me ingame.
Also having applications in with other
raiding guilds is not looked well upon. we are building to getting
further in endgame content if you are just biding time to get into
another raiding guild instead of helping us get there ourselves then
you should just go guildless until you get into the guild that you
are trying for.
There are things that aren't
covered here and I will cover them as they come up and hopefully
enter them into this page in a timely manner. -Deepsix
