Earning DKP
0-1 point for each ½ hour (depending on zone)
0-1 point for each blue drop (depending on zone)
2-5 points for each epic drop (depending on zone)
Boss mobs all have different values that range from 5 to 200.
First time boss mob kills, and time spent on new content, have an added bonus DKP decided by Deepsix at the time of the kill.
From time to time Deepsix will award other DKP for whatever he sees fit.
We use EQDKP and it also has values that get added to the above DKP.

Spending DKP
1 bind on pick up set piece per raid unless no other main needs
1 bind on equip set piece per raid unless no other main needs
1 non-class specific item per raid unless no other main needs

Presently we raid and earn DKP in 4 zones. AQ40, Onyxia’s Lair, Molten Core and Blackwing Lair. These are considered separate raids, although, we may not form a new raid if we go from one to the other back to back.

Tier 1 armor is a minimum of 600 DKP with chest pieces being 1200 DKP
Tier 2+ armor is a minimum of 1200 DKP with chest pieces being 2400 DKP
Non-class specific items are minimum of 600dkp from MC and 1000dkp from BWL/AQ40/Kharazan (at this time this also includes the eye for priests and leaf for hunters)

Some non-class specific items are better suited for certain classes and will only be bid on by those specified at the time of the drop unless none of the specified classes need.

Starting 11/11/06, there will be no more roll off on items.

Be aware of how much DKP you have before you come to a raid. If you over bid what DKP you have and do not win the item it is a 500 DKP penalty. If you over bid what DKP you have and win the item, the item will cost you double. The only exception to this rule is if you are the only person that needs this item, you can go negative. Also, if you bid and win 2 BOE set peices, 2 BOP set pieces or 2 non class specific items in 1 raid, you will be charged double for that item unless nobody else wanted/needed.

If you are signed up for a raid (including subs) and you do not show or are late, there will be the follwing penalty:
40 person raid = 3000dkp
20 person raid = 2000dkp
10-15 person raid = 1000dkp
If you are not sure you can be at a raid, sign up as replacement..

If you are booted from the guild for a legitimate reason (see our C.O.C., but reasons are not limited to the C.O.C.), or leave the guild for any reason, you will forfeit all your DKP at the time of removal/gquit.

Mains are the guild's #1 priority, not alts. Alts can only bid/roll on an item if no main wants. If you wish to switch mains, you will need to first discuss this with your current main's class leader, who will then discuss this with Deepsix. Deepsix will have to give the final approval. Also, if you sign up for a raid on your alt, be expected, at any time, to be asked to log to your main, depending on class need during the raid.
